After not appearing in the top 10 in May, Dan ‘w00ki3z.’ Cates topped the high-stakes cash game leaderboard in June according to data compiled by HighStakesDB. The poker pro booked $148,507 in profit.

Cates, known for his prowess on the high-stakes felts, logged 16 sessions and 1,578 hands during June, an average of $9,281 in profit per session and $94 in profit per hand – stellar in every sense of the word. He was in the black to start off the month of June, but his $148,507 in profit officially moved him past $1 million profit on PokerStars for his career and brought him closer to even on the year; he’s currently $183,000 in the hole for 2016.

Just behind Cates on the high-stakes cash game leaderboard for June was ‘happyhammy‘, who had $146,666 in profit, just $2,000 off Cates’ mark. ‘happyhammy’ had 29 sessions at the high-stakes tables last month and generated 10,051 hands for an average profit of $5,057 per session and $14 per hand.

‘happyhammy’ started the month of June slightly up in profit for his career at PokerStars and now sits comfortably in the black after generating over $146,000 in earnings last month. HighStakesDB first started tracking him in March, so ‘happyhammy’ is a relatively new face on the high-stakes online poker scene.

Third place on the June cash game leaderboard belonged to Jens ‘Jeans89’ Kyllönen, who amassed $132,327 in profit during the 30-day month. He turned in 67 sessions, averaging more than two a day, and generated 1,475 hands for an average profit of $1,975 per session and $67 per hand.

Kyllönen, who is #9 on the all-time tournament money list for Finland according to the Hendon Mob, inched closer to $5 million in high-stakes cash game profit for his career after his six-figure month and officially went into the black for 2016 after he had been down until the month began.

Fourth place on the high-stakes cash game leaderboard for June went to ‘GlassOfBeer‘, who registered $93,413 in profit from 80 sessions and 7,664 hands. He’s predominantly an Omaha player and averaged $1,167 in profit per session and $12 in profit per hand over the course of the 30-day month.

His nearly $100,000 month meant that ‘GlassOfBeer’ passed $200,000 in lifetime profit on the tables that HighStakesDB tracks and officially went into the black for 2016.

Fifth place in June went to ‘kkopghy‘, who raked in $85,537 in profit from 22 sessions and 1,994 hands. That’s an average of $3,888 in profit per session and $42 in profit per hand.

There was only one six-figure pot at the high-stakes cash game tables in June. Its winner was ‘wilhasha‘, who parlayed pocket aces into a $115,160 pot at a $100/$200 No Limit Hold’em table. In the hand, the money went all-in before the flop with aces against kings. The board was run twice and ‘wilhasha’s’ opponent, ‘ChaoRen160‘, watched as his kings failed to improve each time, giving ‘wilhasha’ a $115,160 windfall and both halves of the pot.
