On Saturday’s all-new episode of GSN’s “High Stakes Poker,” Daniel Negreanu (pictured) and Barry Greenstein both joined the action. The show, whose new hour-long episodes air on Saturdays at 11:00pm ET on GSN, features Norm Macdonald on the call and PartyPokerpro Kara Scottconducting interviews from the Bellagio in Las Vegas. “High Stakes Poker” is in its seventh season and formerly sported a sponsorship from PokerStars.

To start this week’s installment, Antonio Esfandiari‘s seat was empty. The Victory Poker pro departed after dropping $86,000 and Negreanu took his place. Upon entering the “High Stakes Poker” suite, Negreanu admitted, “I just flew in for this game.”

“Kid Poker” immediately made his presence felt. On a flop of K-2-J, Negreanu bet $7,000 with K-10 and watch dealer Erik “Rolex” Boneta called with Q-J. The turn was a 10, giving Negreanu two pair, and he bet $16,500. Boneta, holding a pair of jacks and an open-ender, called and promptly bricked on the river. Negreanu fired out a bet of $27,200 and Boneta mucked.

In the second largest pot of the night, Phil OMGClayAiken Galfond (pictured) bet $13,500 with 9-4 of clubs on a board of 6-9-K-3 for a pair of nines. Johnny Chan, who held K-Q of clubs for top pair, check-raised to $40,500 and Galfond called. The river was another six. Chan pushed out $43,000 in chips and Galfond surprisingly called, shipping the $192,000 pot to the former back-to-back World Series of Poker Main Event winner. As a result of scooping the six-figure bounty, Chan possessed the highest profit margin at the table.

On a flop of K-J-10, Boneta bet $5,100 with K-10 for two pair and philanthropist Bill Klein called with K-Q for top pair and an open-ended straight draw. The turn was a three and Boneta continued to fire, this time $16,900, and Klein raised to $60,900. Boneta tanked before calling the extra $44,000 and the final card was a four. Both players hit the table and the dealer pushed the $136,800 pot towards “Rolex.”

Silly Bandz creator and Deepstacks University investor Robert Croak got up from the table after his two pair was counterfeited and Greenstein took his spot. Greenstein made his third appearance on “High Stakes Poker” this season in what has been a rocky showing so far. In his first stint on the GSN cash game series, he lost a $600,000 pot to Esfandiari.

In Greenstein’s last time out, he continually ran into trips. To start his latest tenure, he bought in for $200,000. He’s the only player to have appeared on all three sessions of Season 7 of “High Stakes Poker” and has been on every season of the show to date.

Doyle Brunson(pictured) doubled up to $95,700 after getting his chips in with the nut flush draw against Klein’s second nut flush draw. Both players made a pair of jacks on the flop and then hit their flushes on the river. However, Klein’s flush was second best and Brunson doubled up, although he was still down $104,000 on the session.

In the largest pot of the episode, Negreanu raised to $3,000 before the flop with J-10 of hearts and Klein 3bet to $13,500 with pocket sixes. Galfond came along with pocket threes and Negreanu obliged as well to see a flop of 8-7-3. It was a jackpot flop for Galfond, who counted out $22,500 in chips with bottom set. Negreanu folded and Klein called with his pocket pair to bring a five on the turn.

Galfond pushed out another healthy bet, this time $61,000, and Klein called with an open-ender. The river was a king and Galfond insta-shoved for $134,000. In response, Klein tanked and ultimately got out of the way. Before Galfond’s shove, the pot was worth $204,000.
