As the World Series of Poker Online series gets underway on the GGPoker Network, we check in with some of the Natural8 ambassadors (aka Team Hot) to ask them about their WSOP grind, get advice for first-timers, and try to predict who will walk away from the online series with a new piece of poker hardware.

Long-time high-roller Danny Tang would love to add to his World Series of Bracelet collection through the tournament being held on Natural8. He captured his first gold bracelet in 2019, the same year he started taking shots in Super High Roller tournaments. Tang outlasted a field of 123 elite entries and took down the prestigious $50,000 NLHE High Roller event for $1,608,406.

Tang’s WSOP win was a huge score for sure, but it’s just one of many for the nosebleed tournament player with over $8.5 million in live tournament earnings on his resume. In addition to a WSOP title, 2019 brought Tang a coveted title in the Triton Montenegro Main Event for a career-high cash of $1,796,498 which helped him reach the #1 spot on the #1 ranking on the Hong Kong Global Poker Index.

Having hit new highs in his career, Tang continues to show the world that he belongs in the upper echelons of tournament poker by continuing to add to his accolades.

What is your schedule like for the upcoming World Series of Poker events on Natural8?

I am plan on playing all 54 bracelet events.

Which particular event are you most looking forward to playing?

Definitely the Main Event, I’m very excited to play the $10k short deck as well.

What would it mean to you to win a WSOP bracelet this year?

It would be pretty special as it’s the first WSOP on Natural8 and I happen to be one of the ambassadors. Would love to win one!

How will the WSOP events change your normal playing schedule?

I would need to change my time zone, my sleeping pattern as I’m currently in Asia. I haven’t been playing much lately, I’ve played a lot of cash games last month and took a little break before the World Series. I would need to get back on the grind

What’s your typical day look like when you’re playing online? Do you have a routine you follow before or after you start playing?

I’m not much of an online poker player, I play more live tournaments. For cash games, I don’t really have a routine because you can play whenever you want. For tournaments, I try to sleep and wake up just before the tournament, take a shower to refresh myself. Don’t eat much as I will feel sleepy when I eat too much.

What is your favorite way to unwind or celebrate after a big win or score?

Grab some good dinner, party, and KTV.

What would you tell people playing in a high pressure, prestigious event for the first time ever?

One hand at a time and just relax. Don’t let the pressure get to you, we all have the same two cards.

Tell us one player you think will win a bracelet this year?

The first player that came to my mind is Patrick Leonard, I don’t follow too much of his online scores but I do like to see his Instagram now and then. Of course, him coming up with a massive score in second for $25k in Natural8, like a month ago. He is one of the best players in the world and I would love to bet on him that he will win a bracelet. Hopefully, I can win one myself as well.
