On August 27, history will be made in Toronto, Canada. No, the world’s largest maple tree won’t be chopped down. Instead, Toronto will host the finals of the DraftKings Fantasy Baseball World Championship (FBWC). It’s one of the largest daily fantasy sports contests that will run this year and will award life-changing money to its winner.

Someone’s going to win $1 million, which is the top FBWC prize. Plus, the victor will get a special world championship belt a la Hulk Hogan to display over their fireplace. Packages for the finals, which are up for grabs in a series of satellites and qualifiers on DraftKings, are worth $29,700 apiece and include an FBWC ticket, a three-night hotel stay, and $1,200 in cash for travel. And yes, Toronto won’t be bitter cold that time of year.

The FBWC live final will include the seven Major League Baseball games that start between 7:10pm and 8:10pm ET on August 27, and no late swaps are allowed. That’s only a few days before the 2016 NFL season begins, so it’s only fitting that the weekend will serve as the finale of the summer action on the diamond. Players can qualify up to six times until August 12.

Satellites for the FBWC begin at a quarter, while direct qualifiers run between $3 and $1,000, so there should be a path to the live finals no matter what your bankroll is.

A total of 160 lineups will be entered into the FBWC finale, and be prepared for a $600,000 sweat between first and second, as the former gets a million bucks, while second place will take home $400,000. That’s still not a bad chunk of change for a day’s worth.

Third place gets $250,000, fourth place gets $175,000, and fifth place earns $125,000. The top six lineups will be awarded at least $100,000, while everyone who makes the live final is assured $5,000. That’s on top of travel and hotel.

Six players have won their way in so far: ‘rayofhope’, ‘WebBull’, ‘stlcards33’, ‘mcg555’, ‘tomo73’, and ‘cone999’.

Previous world championships run by DraftKings have included once-in-a-lifetime experiences with professional athletes and the host city, and anyone who wins their way into the FBWC finals in Toronto should expect nothing less. In fact, DraftKings promises that anyone who attends will “experience downtown Toronto in true VIP style with the industry leader in World Championship Live Events.”
