It was a strange Week 10 in DFS. We saw several defenses like Seattle, St. Louis, and Denver lay eggs. Several high-profile quarterbacks like Russell Wilson and Aaron Rodgers struggled, while Julian Edelman went down for the year.

We’ll start with Cousins, who pasted a very poor New Orleans pass defense to the tune of four touchdowns and 324 passing yards. New Orleans has given up an average of almost five passing touchdowns per week for the last three weeks to Eli Manning, Marcus Mariota, and Kirk Cousins (the dream team). The Saints fired DC Rob Ryan as a result. It was only Cousins’ second multi-TD game of the season.

Langford and West, both backups for RB1 studs, went against two of the better defensive lines in the league and dominated. The duo rushed for over 140 yards and two TDs combined and added 10 receptions for almost 200 yards total and two receiving TDs. Both are every-down backs and seem to be relatively matchup-proof, although Bears RB Matt Forte could be back in Week 11, sending Langford back to the bench.

Peterson turned in his best game of the season with 203 rushing yards, while Aiken benefitted from the loss of Ravens WR Steve Smith for the year by reeling in a 7-73-0 line as the de facto #1 receiver. Bryant seemed poised for a big game no matter who was under center, as QB Landry Jones went down on the first drive, sending an injured Ben Roethlisberger into the game. Rather than falter, Big Ben shredded Cleveland and Bryant had a 6-178-1 line.

The Bengals were one of the few high-priced defenses not to struggle this week and recorded three sacks and a pick of Houston’s QB tandem on Monday night.
