Fedor Holz is named the newest ambassador for GGPoker.

The GGPoker stable of ambassadors picked up another big name this week after the online poker site announced tournament superstar Fedor Holz as an official GGPoker ambassador in a new partnership with online poker training site Pokercode.

Prior to the official announcement from GGPoker, Holz grabbed GGPoker ambassador Daniel Negreanu on Sunday for a live-streamed interview in which he broke the news on his own.

Holz, a former #1-ranked PocketFiver, now joins the ranks of high-profile players that currently wear the GGPoker patch. Along with Negreanu, All-Time Money List leader Bryn Kenney, Felipe Ramos, and Bertrand ‘ElkY’ Grospellier, who joined the team just two weeks ago, are all part of the growing squad.

In Holz, GGPoker is teaming up with a player who has the reputation of being one of the elite minds in the high roller scene with a resume that includes over $42 million in live tournament earnings.

His string of seven-figure scores in 2016, which included high roller victories on the World Poker Tour, European Poker Tour, and a gold bracelet win in the World Series of Poker $111,111 High Roller for One Drop, earned him over $16 million in a single year according to The Hendon Mob and is considered to be one of the best years on record.

In addition to videos and lectures, the site offers interactive coaching and 24/7 access to community members.

The specifics of the GGPoker/Pokecode partnership are broad. They include a GGPoker ‘Welcome Bonus’ for Pokercode community members and complete access to everything that GGPoker offers in terms of their Fish Buffet loyalty program and extensive MTT schedule. Players at GGPoker will be offered promotions to get started at Pokercode as well as poker coaching tips “the entire player base” from Holz, Eibinger, and lead coach Simon ‘IgorKarkarof’ Ronnow Pedersen.

It’s been a busy month for GGPoker who continues to make waves in the online poker industry. In addition to bringing on Holz and Grospellier in the past 30 days, they have also named six-time Grand Slam tennis champion Boris Becker as an official ambassador.

At the same time that GGPoker was bolstering the profile of their ambassadors, the online poker site struck a deal to host the 18-event World Series of Poker Super Circuit Online Series. The WSOP online events are wrapped in a massive $100 million guaranteed tournament series that marks the first time that players outside of the United States the opportunity to win a gold ring event.

So far, the partnership between GGPoker and Holz seems to be off to a good start.
