The GGPoker Spring Festival features more than $150 million in guaranteed prize money.

GGPoker is smashing records in the online poker arena once again with its upcoming GG Spring Festival. The online poker series, which runs from April 4-28, promises at least $150 million in total guaranteed prize money, the highest series guarantee in online poker history.

The festival includes more than 110 events each of which includes tiered buy-ins of Low, Medium, and High. Of the more than 300 tournaments, 39 of them will feature a prize pool guarantee of $1 million or more.

The whole festival kicks off on April 3 when GGPoker partners with Canadian electric music producer and DJ deadmau5 to host an opening night party that includes an exclusive music set streamed on GGPoker.TV and a $100,000 freeroll. The partnership with deadmau5 doesn’t end there as he will also be partaking in the action, along with many of the GGPoker ambassadors, in his own $10K GG Legends Bounty tournament taking place on April 10.

“This is going to be the biggest online poker event of all time and will blow a lot of people’s minds,” said GGPoker ambassador Daniel Negreanu. “From the deadmau5-hosted launch party and other festival elements to the massive headline event guarantees, it’s a true poker party from start to finish, and I can’t wait for it to get underway.”

A trio of headline events includes some of the biggest guarantees of the festival. The Main Event (High) is a $1,500 buy-in tournament with a $10 million guarantee. The high-roller Super MILLION$ Main Event (High) is a $10,300 buy-in event with another $10 million guaranteed. The third GG Spring Festival headliner is a $400 buy-in, guaranteeing $2.5 million.

Leading up to the biggest events of the series, a number of spotlight tournaments are sure to draw large fields. In Week One, dubbed the “Opening Stage”, both the Opening Act-L $80 NLHE with a $1 million guarantee and the Opening Act-L $80 PLO with $500,000 guaranteed will have mid-stakes players ready to boost their bankrolls.

In Week Two (aka Headliner Stage), in addition to two of the largest guaranteed tournaments, there’s also a $400 PLO-NL event with another $1 million on the line.

Finally, in Week Three – dubbed the Main Stage – joining the $1,500 Main Event, is a $1,500 PLO-NL Main Event that carries a $2 million guarantee.

The series will feature plenty of Super High Roller action as well. The schedule includes 10 different $25,500 buy-in events, which, in total, accounts for $34 million of the total guarantees.

Players on the other end of the spectrum are well-catered to as well with more than 100 events carrying a buy-in of less than $100. There are plenty of six-figure guarantees to go along with them including the $25 Mini Main Event, the $25 GGMasters, and the $30 Sunday Marathon all of which will have at least $100K in the prize pool.

GGPoker is incentivizing players to participate with more than just aggressive tournament guarantees. They are putting up $1 million in total leaderboard prizes which can be won over the course of the entire series.

In Weeks 1 and 2, $300,000 will be handed out to players over the three different tiers of Low, Medium, and High. Then, as the festival heads into the home stretch, Week 3 leaders will divvy up $400,000 in prizes.

Of course, GGPoker has plans to showcase some of the biggest events on their broadcast channels with the final tables with all three of the prize-pool-boosted Super MILLION$ taking center stage on GGPoker.TV
