Global Poker will be represented at the Wynn Poker Classic by Sandra Lefler, the Grizzly Games Leaderboard winner.

Global Poker Grizzly Games Leaderboard Winner Sandra ‘MommyGingerly’ Lefler is hitting the strip. The Las Vegas resident and overall points leader in the latest championship series from GlobalPoker.com will be representing the online site at an upcoming live tournament thanks to her performance in the recently completed series.

Global Poker, the online site that uses a unique sweepstakes-based system to service online players both in the United States and Canada, will be well represented in the upcoming Wynn Classic Tournament Series Championship in Las Vegas. Lefler, who was victorious in two tournaments during the Grizzly Games, will be patched up and swagged out when she takes her seat at the table, bought and paid for by Global Poker.

“I love playing on Global Poker,” Lefler says. “I live in Las Vegas and we actually have a large group of Global Poker players that live here and all play together in the live casinos. It is great to be able to represent Global Poker here in my hometown.”

Lefler is going to be able to pocket a little extra cash as well. With the Wynn being in her backyard, the $5,000 package she earned will go a long way. Even though she impressed those who followed her rise in the Global Poker ranks with her tournament prowess during the series, Lefler considers herself more of a cash game player. She can often be found mixing it up on the $2/$5 NL tables in Vegas.

When she’s not grinding live though, she’s taking to the virtual felts at Global Poker.

“I really enjoy the Sit & Gos and the MTTs,” Lefler says. “I also love the big series that Global Poker does. I played every tournament of the Eagle Cup and all but two in the Grizzly Games.”

She missed the two tournaments because she was on a family vacation with her young son Brendon. Understandably, with a family at home, it’s not always easy to find her way into the live games.

“The best thing about Global Poker is that it gives me the ability to play online from home. I have a young son and it is great to be able to be at home with him instead of having to go out to a live venue to play.”

Well, that leaderboard money will certainly help out with getting a sitter as Lefler prepares to play in the upcoming Wynn Poker Classic, which wraps up on March 11.

Global Poker’s sweepstakes model makes it so players in the U.S. and Canada can easily get started and withdraw real cash prizes with the convenience of PayPal. To get started players purchase Gold Coins. The Gold Coins are one of two currencies on the site. While the Gold Coins have no real cash value, they allow players to play for fun and win entries into other events. When players purchase Gold Coins, the also get $weeps Cash – the second currency of the site. This allows you to play on $weeps Cash tables – both tournaments and cash games – and all your winnings in that arena can be redeemed via PayPal.

The Global Poker Grizzly Games series is officially in the books. Word is that there’s another one right around the corner and will likely have the largest guarantees in the history of the site. There’s never been a better time to check it out.
