Last month 888poker held their $1,000,000 God Of The Arena Main Event and those players who battled their way to the final table earned themselves massive scores as well as places at the top the list of PocketFivers who scored big on 888 in October.
After finishing as the runner-up in the God of the Arena Main Event, Ireland’s ‘sully4428’ tops the list of October winners. The $40,216 payday is easily a new online career-high for ‘sully4428’. It helped propel the new PocketFiver to earn his $100,000 badge. The single score is good enough to put the Irishman at the top of two list – biggest score and most money won in the month.
Right behind him on the list for top earners is Alberta, Canada’s ‘bustindanut.’ Just like ‘sully4428’, ‘bustindanut’ used his deep run in the $1M GTD tournament to not only take home a major score of $28,951, but also lift him to a new cash plateau of over $2.6 million. The five-figure score is the first for the mid-stakes grinder in 2018. He falls into the #2 spot in both the most money won as well as largest scores. Unlike ‘sully4428’ though, the Canadian added on to his God Of The Arena score with other tournament scores. He earned an additional $3,645 to bring his monthly 888poker total to $32,596.
Top-ranked Swedish pro ‘Ariados’ also managed a major score in October to allow him to enter the top three earners on 888poker. He took down the October 7 edition of the $60,000 Whale for $20,054. Whereas the God Of The Arena Main Event saw over 12,000 runners, this edition of the Whale only drew 45 runners. Nevertheless, ‘Ariados’, currently the #8-ranked player in the world, padded that score with another $9K in cashes, to bring his October total to $29,707. His October earnings helped the superstar soar past the elite level of over $10 million in total lifetime earnings.

There an abnormality that is not often seen in the 888poker monthly wrap-up in reference to players with the most wins. There was a five-way tie for first and a five-way tie for second.
Five PocketFivers, Russia’s ‘DoperHarley’, ‘Antonovec’ and ‘ArtiTAG’, Brazil’s ‘Flavio Felipe’ and ‘Zekila’, each picked up six total first-place prizes. This isn’t ‘DoperHarley’s first time in the top ten as the micro-grinder has accumulated enough cash to pass the $50,000 in lifetime earnings mark. ‘Zekila’ also earned his $50K badge in October.
Brazil’s ‘Flavio Felipe’ is also no stranger to binking victories on 888poker, as he took down the $1,000 Turbo Deep on October 27 for $333.
