If it weren’t for the presence of Daniel Negreanu in the final 27 players of the 2015 World Series of Poker Main Event, it is arguable that Justin stealthmunk Schwartz would be one of the more notable players left in the field. He ended up in 14th place for $411,000.

Schwartz began the penultimate Day 7 of the 2015 Main Event with 7.51 million in chips, which was good enough for tenth place in the standings.

Schwartz was one of the online wunderkinds who exploded on the poker scene during the mid-2000s. He won the 2008 Empire State Poker Championship Main Event for a $71,000 score, but it wasn’t until he could legally enter a casino in 2010 that his tournament poker career really took off.

He picked up two World Poker Tour cashes in 2010-2011, earned three cashes at the 2011 WSOP including a final table finish in the $10,000 Pot Limit Omaha World Championship, and final tabled the Foxwoods Poker Classic Main Event.

2012 would bring Schwartz three more cashes on the WSOP stage, but 2013 would bring him his largest cash ever. In the 2013 Foxwoods Poker Classic Championship Event, Schwartz conquered a final table that included John DiBella, Raj Patel, Nicholas Petrangelo, and Ryan Eriquezzo to win the tournament and take down the $112,582 payday.

All totaled, entering the 2015 WSOP Main Event, Schwartz had 14 WSOP cashes, two World Poker Tour cashes, and $681,814 in total earnings among his 29 cashes.

Schwartz had been rather silent through the later stages of the 2015 WSOP Main Event, content to slowly grind out the chips rather than make the big swings that some might attempt.
