It was another superb month on 888poker‘s virtual tables for PocketFivers with the top ten earners collectively winning $122,201.36. The month saw 888poker’s XL Winter Series which was capped off by the $500k GTD Main Event PKO which saw one PocketFiver take home the biggest score of their online career on the platform.

It was a December to remember for ‘MflushN’ with over $30,000 in prize winnings to scoop the title of top earner on 888poker for the last month of the year. Ending the year with a bang, the Brazilian bagged a $29,938 payday and posted his biggest win on 888poker with a fourth-place finish in the XL Winter Series $500k GTD Main Event PKO. With another final table and tournament cash of $315, ‘MflushN’ saw a total earnings of $30,252.69, which secured his top spot on the monthly top earners table.

‘Scouse_AA’ produced an impressive set of results to finish in second. The Liverpudlian strung together 24 cashes, four tournament victories, and two second places for a combined $14,988.47. The five-figure haul included two wins in the $33 BIG Fish and victories in the $5,000 Late Mega Deep and the $10,000 Monsoon.

2021 marks the tenth anniversary of Mario ‘AKupaA’ Sanchez joining PocketFives and they will hope the new year will be as kind to him as in December. A festive taking of $10,885 secured the Portuguese poker player the 11th spot in his country’s rankings.

Also, a winner of the $33 BIG Fish which netted a cash prize of $2,110, Sanchez’s second-place finish for $3,486 in the $25,000 Sunday Challenge PKO was then bested, in terms of money won, by his 13th place finish in the XL Winter Series $500k GTD Main Event PKO $3,583.

‘MflushN’ may have eclipsed Sanchez in 888poker’s flagship winter spectacle, but the Brazilian still has a long way to go to catch up with his European counterpart in total earnings. Sanchez sees out 2020 with over $2.5 million in lifetime earnings, almost $2 million more than the title holder.

‘Momentum288’ recorded the most cashes in December, claiming the top spot for himself after sharing the title last month with ‘Cheloidpro9’. The Austrian’s 66 cashes, four less than in November, was enough to eclipse ‘KeyzerSozePT’ who rocked up 64 cashes of his own.

Another Portuguese poker player featured on this list, ‘KeyzerSozePT’ consistent performances earned him $10,373.89, a figure that dwarfs the $1,722.15 won by ‘Momentum288’.

It’s not the first time ‘HeateN’ has cropped up in these reports but the PocketFiver keeps delivering the goods. 47 cashes including four wins was enough to take the #3 spot on this list. Predominately playing low to mid-stakes tournaments, ‘HeateN’ has managed to cash for $39,715 in tournaments since posting his first result on 888poker in December 2019 with a career-high cash of $2,020 after finishing third in the 888Millions Mini Deepstack back in September 2020.

Both ‘HeateN’ and ‘Scouse_AA’ make appearances again with their four tournament wins each. And another month where plenty of PocketFivers won on three occasions with ‘Tahiti75’ notching the most earnings of $4,255.25 from those names on the list.
