C Darwin2 Top $7 Million Lifetime Earnings

October’s PLB winner and current #1-ranked online player on the planet, Sweden’s ‘C Darwin2’ added a new accolade to his ever-growing list of accomplishments this week when he surpassed $7 million in lifetime earnings.

Not only did he fly right by the benchmark, he did it in style by outright winning the PokerStars $215 Fat Thursday for over $16,000. His victory was one of three top 3 finishes over the course of the week, resulting in over $50,000 in cashes. At this rate, it will only be a few weeks before the Swede returns to the Milestones headlines as he closes in on his $7.5 million badge.

Making new high marks of his own was The Netherlands #1-ranked player, Tommie ‘TommieJ’ Janssen who grinded his way past the $4 million lifetime earnings mark this week as well.

Two More Join $2 Million

Romania’s top-ranked pro Nedelcu ‘Narcisus90’ Narcis as well as ‘macqueen56’from France both topped the $2 million mark this week. Narcis’ sixth place finish in the PokerStars $215 Bounty Builder for nearly $4,500 on November 5 was the tournament that helped him get over the hump. In similar fashion, for the full-time grinder ‘macqueen56’ it was his runner-up finish in the partypoker $10,000 GTD on Monday, November 6.

A career-high score, in terms of PLB points, for ‘PSCPRODIGY’ helped him become one of four players to earn $1 million in lifetime earnings this week. ‘PSCPRODIGY’, Thailand’s #2-ranked player, soared past the $1 million mark with his win in the PokerStars $2,100 Sunday High Roller for $58,039 and 529.15 PLB points. Joining him in earning the million milestone was Lithuania’s ‘shakalas’, Zimbabwe’s ‘Rakietman’ and ‘Pustota’ who plays out of Cheboksary, Russia.

’Jughead11’ enters Top 100, ‘josef_shvejk’ & ‘rolandbauer’ ascend in Top 20

Nine players made moves in the Top 100 Worldwide rankings, with Joseph ‘Jughead11’ Lacasse appearing for the first time. As the Canadian Lacasse approached $500,000 in lifetime earnings, his new entry into the Top 100 can be attributed to a string of cashes boosted by his second-place finish in the PokerStars $215 Sunday Warmup in the last week of October, providing him over 373 PLB points and $34,940.

Russia’s‘josef_shvejk’ took another step towards the Top 10 as he moved from 16 to 15 in the rankings this week. Ranked #2 in all of Russia, his move up could likely be traced back to his first-place finish in the Hot $109 on PokerStars early in the week earning him over 205.18 PLB points in addition to the approximately $7,500.

The most notable move of the week belongs to Austria’s ‘rolandbauer’ who leapt 18 spots from #30 right into the thick of the Top 20, landing at #12. Two big-time finishes in a 48 hours period not only gave him the boost he needed to get to the edge of the Top 10, but it also puts him on the precipice of $2 million in lifetime earnings. He took first place in partypoker’s Sunday Super High Roller for $55,809 and then, just days later, a second place finish in PokerStars Super Tuesday for another $41,988.
