WCOOP Success Leads to Career-Best Rankings

The Dutch grinder, who now calls Malta home, moved into the #2 spot, one spot better than his previous best ranking.

Chris ‘Apotheosis’ Kruk might not have won a WCOOP title this year, but seven of his last eight cashes have qualified for PLB points and he’s now ranked #17 in the world and is the top-ranked player in Canada.

There were four players who moved into the top 100 for the first time in their careers: ‘neverfoldQ5’ (#71), Alexandre ‘Cavalito’ Mantovani (#73), ‘Mikensonas‘ (#74) and ‘tiarc’ (#87).

Canada’s ‘Lockhurt’ Moves Past $3M in Lifetime Earnings

Okay, we’re going to stop talking about all of the amazing things that came for van Zedelhoff after his huge win – though he did pass through $6M and $7M lifetime earnings because of it.

While he was doing that, Canadian ‘Lockhurt’ was grinding his way past the $3 million lifetime earnings mark. The result that put him over the top was a 38th place finish in the 888poker XL Eclipse Main Event for $4,995. He’s the 338th player to hit the $3M mark.

There were seven players who joined the seven-figures club this week: Gary ‘quiditbear’ Hasson, ‘DamienWain’, ‘MaxUdav’, Charbel ‘KING BAIT’ Kanterjian, Alexandre ‘Cavalito’ Mantovani, ‘Stealwave’, and ‘swordfish007’.
