Every week The PocketFives Milestone Report looks at the online poker players who are achieving career-best achievement or reaching new heights in the rankings

Chris Moorman Hits New High, Wins 26th Triple Crown

Chris ‘moorman1’ Moorman’s name has appeared in the Milestones column as of late as a reference point of greatness. With a handful of players following in his footsteps and eclipsing the $10 million lifetime earnings mark in 2017, we point to the fact that Moorman was the first to do it. Back in 2009, Moorman was also the first to record 10 Triple Crown wins. Since that time he continues to set the pace, having been the first to every major mark in recorded Triple Crowns – 15, 20, 25 – and this week he recorded his 26th. In the same seven-day period Moorman was victorious on three different online sites including taking down partypoker’s Heavyweight: Uppercut Warm Up for $8,060, the PokerStars $109 Fast Friday for $4,163 and 888poker’s $10,000 Monsoon for $2,591.

Moorman’s online excellence has the former #1-ranked player climbing towards $14.5 million in lifetime earnings and with with 26th Triple Crown extends his chart-topping lead by five over the next closest player Nicolas ‘PokerKaiser’ Fierro, who also had himself a major milestone this week.

Nicolas ‘PokerKaiser’ Fierro Surpasses $11 Million

It was just back in March of this year that we were celebrating Chile’s #1-ranked online pro Nicolas ‘PokerKaiser’ Fierro for eclipsing the hallowed $10 million mark in lifetime earnings. Now, a scant nine months later, he’s added another million to his coffers as he soars past $11 million this week. Fierro made the new mark after taking third place in the Winning Poker Network’s Extreme Tuesday $40,000 GTD for $4,676. Fierro currently sits as the #27-ranked player in the world.

‘omaha4rollz’, ‘chiconogue’: Two Pros, Two Million

This week a pair of longtime grinders topped the $2 million in lifetime earnings mark. Hungary’s Laszlo ‘omaga4rollz’ Bujtas, currently ranked #16 in the world, returned to the online grind after a short break to final table the October 29 partypoker Super High Roller: $100K GTD for $6,366. The score put Bujtas just $117 over $2 million.

Brazil’s Francisco ‘chiconogue’ Nogueira joined Bujtas on the very same day after securing a healthy first place victory in the PokerStars $215 NLO8 Sunday Supersonic for $8,999, his largest online score of the month.

Also of note this week, Estonia’s Aleksei ‘LeshiyAS’ Smirnov had a monster week, helping him soar past the $1 million lifetime earnings mark.
