Every week The PocketFives Milestone Report looks at the online poker players who are achieving career-best achievement or reaching new heights in the rankings

From Nowhere to Top 50 for Hungary’s ‘kZhh’

When ‘kZhh‘ first joined PocketFives a little over 14 months ago, he was nowhere near the top of the PocketFives Rankings. Now he appears to be well on his way to joining the cream at the top. The Hungarian first made headlines in June when he won the PokerStars Sunday Million for $176,213 and 1,084.34 PLB points. He’s ridden that massive score first into the top 100 and now into the top 50, having landed at #50 this week. He’s also the #2-ranked player in Hungary, 2,220.97 points behind Andres ‘probirs’ Nemeth.

Top Bangladeshi Akash ‘funwheel’ Majumdar Continues Climb

Bangladesh is a country with a population of just over 163 million and the best online poker player of that group remains Akash ‘funwheel’ Majumdar. But just like ‘kZhh’, it might not be long before he’s up there with the top 25 players in the entire world. Majumdar moved up one spot from #48 to #47 thanks to his win in the partypoker Heavyweight: The Eliminator on June 28. The 133.42 poitns was his seventh largest PLB score and comes a little over a month after he won a PokerStars Spring Championship of Online Poker for $225,011 and 1,590.53 PLB points.

There were four other players who managed to hit career-high marks inside the top 100 this past week.
