Every week The PocketFives Milestone Report looks at the online poker players who are achieving career-best achievement or reaching new heights in the rankings

Roman ‘Romeopro’ Romanovsky Surpasses $8 Million in Earnings

Over the last few months, Ukrainian poker pro Roman ‘Romeopro’ Romanovsky has been on a bit of a roll. He won the 888poker XL Eclipse High Roller in September. He finished third in the partypoker Powerfest High Roller and then 12th in the Powerfest Championship event. Those scores earned $226,000.

This past week however he finished runner-up in the partypoker High Roller for $11,371.72. That score, while not the first place prize he was no doubt seeking, was enough to push Romanovsky past the $8 million earnings mark. He is the 20th player to reach that milestone and the only Urkainian player to do so.

Romanovsky remains the #1-ranked player in the Ukraine.

New Jersey’s Fred ‘BiggDaddy’ Ferrell Cracks $1M Garden State Winnings

Fred ‘BiggDaddy’ Ferrell, a mainstay in the New Jersey Rankings Top 10, is now one of the few players from the Garden State to have reached $1 million in lifetime earnings on regulated sites.

Ferrell got into the seven-figure club thanks to a PokerStars Super Tuesday win on October 17. That win earned him $4,963.

Pedro ‘PaDiLhA SP’ Padilha Cracks Top 25 for First Time

Anybody who has closely followed the PocketFives Rankings for the past few years knows that players from two countries have dominated; Sweden and Brazil. While Swedish players have a stranglehold on the top 10 right now, one Brazilian seems to be working his way up the rankings quickly.

Pedro ‘PaDiLhA SP’ Padilha went from #27 to #22 in the world last week. Padilha recently won the partypoker High Roller for $23,793 and 352.14 points. This comes less than a month after his fourth place finish in the partypoker Powerfest Championship Event for $453,150 and 475.17 points.

Padilha is the #2-ranked player in Brazil, behind only Joao ‘joaosimaobh’ Simao. There are a total of 15 other Brazilian players ranked inside the top 100 worldwide.
