In November of last year, Trevor Dinneen (pictured), who is known as allintrev23on PocketFives, took down the PokerStars Sunday Warm-Upfor $110,000 officially. “It feels great to have won another Sunday Major in a small space of time,” Dinneen told PocketFives about the iPoker $200K in an exclusive interview. “I ran fairly well for the whole tournament and was above average until well into the money.” The tournament drew nearly 1,400 players and featured two members of the top 100 of the PocketFives Poker Rankingsin the top 25 spots. We asked the Irishman for a little scouting report on the iPoker $200K, which is played out on sites like WinnerPoker. He remarked, “It’s pretty much the only tournament I play on iPoker, so I’m not too familiar with the players and their names, but I don’t think there were many big, high-profile players at the last three tables.” Members of PocketFives walked away with $53,000 in the $200K, or 27% of the prize pool.

What has been going right for him lately? How has he been able to record two Sunday Major titles in half a year? He rationalized, “For years, I have just been trotting along winning a couple of grand here and there, but I supposeI never gave up and eventually hit the big one.” He is on the verge of breaking $300,000 in tracked online MTT cashes and joined our community in the first month of 2012.

He has major plans for the $33,000, namely earmarking it for a house he is building with his girlfriend. The residence is located 20 minutes outside of Cork, Ireland and, according to Dinneen, is “out in the country.” Right now, our interview subject is the second ranked player in Cork and #15 in the Ireland poker community.

He started playing poker with friends in pubs a decade ago. He remarked, “I automatically enjoyed it and wanted more. I don’t play full-time at all. I don’t think I’d be able to do that right now. I am a self-employed tiler and work seems to be busy at the moment, so I try to leave poker for just the weekends, but it’s hard to resist a few Turbos midweek.” He has 610 tracked in the money finishes and can be found at #757 worldwide in the Rankings.

Dinneen closed by telling us, “I just hope my run good continues. I don’t consider myself to be one of the best online players, but I won’t say no to the money.” Here were the results of the iPoker $200K the weekend that Dinneen took it down in April:
