In Nevada this week, WSOP.com ran three of its four $3,000 events as scheduled. On Wednesday, the site ran a special satellite for two $1,500 seats to the 2014 World Series of Poker. All of the $3,000 daily events exceeded their guarantees. There were 231 runners with a total prize pool of $16,000.

The players with the highest valued prizes won were BShriever5 and butters, each getting a $1,500 seat to a 2014 WSOP event. BShriever5 continued to add on to his number of cashes, now at 21, and has won over $19,000 to date, not counting his five cashes in the lower guarantee events. Not to be overlooked, butters has cashed only 10 times so far, but one of those was for a $10,000 entry to the WSOP Main Event. This brings butters’ total cashes to just over $20,000 to date this year.

The player with the highest cash win was jdcandidate, with a payout of $1,392 for taking down Monday’s event. jdcandidate took second place in Thursday’s event for $621. Since arriving on the scene on March 17, jdcandidate has had two wins and four second place finishes when playing at a final table. With over $5,500 in prizes, he is a player to keep an eye on this year.

Also keep an eye on VPIHokie1970, as he is starting to heat up again. With four more cashes, including a first place finish in the last two weeks, he now has more than $29,000 in winnings on 31 final tables in the larger events. He has also been seen cashing in the lower guarantee events.

This week, Ultimate Poker held four tournaments, the $2,500 Nightly events. There were 121 runners generating a prize pool of $11,511 and paying a total of 121 spots. The highest cash this week went to bansman, winning $1,228 in the Monday night $2,500 event. This is bansman’s first takedown in this event since showing up on the final tables in February. He has over $3,500 in earnings to date.

FLUFFYBUNNY is the Ultimate Poker hot player of the week with back-to-back takedowns of the $2,500 daily event. With 21 cashes so far this year, FLUFFYBUNNY has won eight events outright and has come in second place five times. His total cashes to date are $19,000.
