Nevada Weekday Tournament Review for July 4, 2014
In Nevada this week, WSOP.com ran four $3,000 events as scheduled. All of the events exceeded the guarantees. There were 285 runners with a total prize pool of $20,975 and paying 45 spots.
The player with the highest cash win on WSOP.com was supsonhtdadwith a payout of $1,682, taking down Wednesday night’s event. This was the first time we have seen supsonhtdad at the final table.
Of note, we have seen PocketFives member Redhat_jane twice at the final tables this week marking the first time we have seen her this year cashing in the $3K events. She is a regular winner at events with lower buy-ins.
This week, Ultimate Poker held four tournaments, the $2,000 Nightly events. There were 80 runners generating a prize pool of $9,280 and paying a total of 15 spots. The guarantee for Thursday night’s event was not met, creating an overlay of $89.
The highest cash on Ultimate Poker this week went to Kristinfor $1,126 taking down Wednesday night’s event. Kristin also won Monday’s event and took second place in Thursday night’s event. With 46 cashes this year, Kristin has won over $32,000.
