Nevada Weekday Tournament Review for October 24, 2014
This weekend in Nevada, five PocketFives members made it to major final tables, taking home a combined $4,128. Finishing in first place were asianhustlerand uncfan11in the $3,000 WSOP.com Nightly events.
WSOP.com ran all four $3,000 events as scheduled. All of the events exceeded the guarantees. There were 245 runners with a total prize pool of $19,026 and 38 spots being paid.
The player with the largest cash was PocketFives member Cyaneveraka uncfan11, with a payout of $1,543 for taking down Thursday night’s event. Cyanever placed second in the Main Event of the Fall Poker Festival last week, taking home $8,140. He has won over $23,000 in 2014 by cashing in just 11 events.
This week, Ultimate Poker held three of its four scheduled tournaments, the $2,000 Nightly events. Only one of the three exceeded its guarantee. There were 59 runners, generating a prize pool of $6,047. The largest cash this week went to unlvrebel74for $921 for taking down Tuesday night’s event.
Of note, FLUFFYBUNNYtook first place in Wednesday’s event and finished in second place in both Monday and Tuesday night’s events for a total of $2,933 in winnings for the week.
