Nevada Weekend Tournament Review for August 11, 2014

In Nevada, WSOP.com kicked off its weekend with seven major events including the Weekend Warm-Up $5,000 Guarantee and Re-Entry R&A $3,000 Guarantee on Saturday and the Freezeout and $15,000 Guarantee on Sunday. WSOP.com had 386 runners vying for the 54 available prizes totaling $18,400.

The player with the highest individual cash was Don_Key in the Sunday $15,000 for $5,244. Don_Key has made only three final tables this year; two were for first place finishes. The other first place finish was for a $10,000 entry into the 2014 World Series of Poker Main Event. Don_Key finished fourth in the WSOP.com Online Championships in Event #8 winning $7,300. He now has over $22,000 in winning in just three events.

Two PocketFives members had good weeks and added to their bankroll. VPIHokie1970aka Josh Reynoldscashed three times and is approaching $60,000 in winnings for 2014. mnbass1 aka bassmaster made four final tables in the last seven days and now has over $31,000 this year.

This weekend saw Ultimate Poker run five major events plus a special Lucky 7’s Freeroll with a guarantee of $7,777. There were 516 runners fighting for the 226 prize spots available totaling $24,966.50.

The player with the highest individual cash was PremiumStud (pictured above), a PocketFives member, in the Sunday $10,000 for $2,500. That event had an overlay of $536, as the guarantee was not met. PremiumStud is approaching $22,000 in total winnings from both Nevada sites.
