In Nevada, WSOP.com kicked off its weekend with seven major events including the Weekend Warm-Up $5,000 Guarantee and Re-Entry R&A $3,000 Guarantee on Saturday and the Freezeout on Sunday. This week, we are seeing newcomers taking down the biggest prizes offered during the weekend events.

WSOP.com had 563 runners vying for the 76 available prizes totaling $67,800. One of the events was a $215 buy-in with the top prize of an entry to the this year’s World Series of Poker Main Event worth $10,000.

The player with the highest individual prize this weekend on WSOP.com was tiger76in the WSOP Main Event Qualifier, winning a $10,000 seat. This was the first recorded cash for tiger76 and is just in time for the WSOP Main Event starting on Saturday, July 5.

The player with the highest individual prize this weekend on WSOP.com was EasterBunnyin the Sunday $10,000 event, taking home $8,262 for the first place and also taking home $365 in the Sunday Freezeout. Both cashes are the first time EasterBunny has made a final table this year.

This weekend saw Ultimate Poker run five major events. “Chase the Dream” has been added to the Sunday lineup with payouts of $5,000 for first and second place. There were 325 runners fighting for the 45 prize spots available totaling $30,596.

The players with the highest individual cashes were HoneyBooBooand Buttersin the Chase the Dream event on Sunday. Both players took home $5,000. That event had an overlay of $10,851, as the guarantee was not met.

Butters continued adding to his already growing totals, now having won over $20,000 on Ultimate Poker and over $40,000 on WSOP.com for an impressive total of over $60,000 in events that we record.
