Nevada Weekend Tournament Review for May 26, 2014

In Nevada, WSOP.com kicked off its weekend with seven major events including the Weekend Warm-Up $5,000 Guarantee, the Re-Entry R&A $3,000 Guarantee,, the FreezeOut, and the $15,000 Weekly Sunday Guarantee. WSOP.com had 418 runners vying for the 54 available prizes totaling $46,375. One of the events was a $215 buy-in with the top prize of an entry to the 2014 World Series of Poker Main Event worth $10,000.

The player with the highest individual prize this weekend on WSOP.com was Who_Is_Ivey in the WSOP Main Event Qualifier winning a $10,000 seat. This was the fifth final table for Who_Is_Ivey and brings his win total for this year to $12,796.

The player with the highest individual cash this weekend was zentrain for taking down the Sunday $15,000 for $4,845. This marks the third win in three final tables this year for zentrain.

The Weekend Warm-Up was won by mnbass1 (bassmaster on PocketFives) for $2,000. Combine that win with two other cashes this weekend and 26 overall final tables this year and you’ll get over $17,000 in winnings for mnbass.

This weekend saw Ultimate Poker run four major events. There were 145 runners fighting for the 19 prize spots available, totaling $16,164. The player with the highest individual cash was ZipLocked in the Sunday $10,000 for $2,900. That event had an overlay of $1,810, as the guarantee was not met. It was ZipLocked’s first final table.
