This weekend in Nevada, seven PocketFives members showed up at the final tables. Two of them, CindrllaMan aka LuckSackGMZ(pictured) and BrainRapist aka PremiumStud, finished in first place.

WSOP.com kicked off its weekend with a special eight-day series celebrating the site’s first year of online poker in Nevada. The series is called the Anniversary Series and started September 19. These events will run through September 27. The first two events did not meet their guarantees, resulting in overlays totaling over $1,000.

This Sunday $15,000 was replaced by the Super Sunday $25,000 as part of the Anniversary celebration. WSOP.com had 560 runners vying for the 65 available prizes totaling $54,924. The player with the highest individual cash was izzy383in the Super Sunday $25,000 for $7,770. This was the first takedown for izzy383 in six prior attempts this year.

This weekend saw Ultimate Poker run six scheduled events. There were 305 runners fighting for the 46 prize spots available totaling $23,007. There were three events that did not meet their guarantees, creating overlays totaling over $4,000.

The player with the highest individual cash was BrainRapistin the Sunday $10,000 for $3,200. That event had an overlay of $2,902, as the guarantee was not met. He now has over $31,000 in total winnings combined on both Nevada sites in 2014.

The following are the tournament results for this week from Ultimate Poker and WSOP.com, two of the regulated online poker sites in Nevada. 1. I am wondering if all the Rebuy and Add-on events are starting to have a negative effect on the number of players being able to afford to play. Over the last three weeks, I have seen many of the smaller guarantee tourney’s not be met. I have also seen normally scheduled events cancelled because there were not enough players registered to run the event. Any thoughts?
