We’re down to the final 27 in the 2015 World Series of Poker Main Event. You’ll notice that we’ve published a series of player bios on the group, which we’ll update as eliminations occur throughout the day on Tuesday. The field will be whittled all the way down to the November Nine on Tuesday starting at Noon PT.

Thomas Kearney(pictured), known as Butters on PocketFives, leads the way with a stack of 14.4 million. He’s the top-ranked PocketFiver from Nevada and we seemingly write about him every Monday when we recap the larger tournaments Nevada has to offer. He has over $150,000 in earnings from WSOP.com.

In an interview with PocketFives last year, Kearney said that the TV show “South Park” was the inspiration for his screen name. He added, “I play mostly six-max and heads-up PLO. I also play heads-up LHE and NLHE. I am bored by NLHE for the most part and find PLO to be less reggy.” Despite being bored by NLHE, Kearney has certainly found success in the Main Event.

Joseph McKeehen, known on PocketFives as dude904, is in fourth place with 11.9 million. He has been Tweeting throughout his Main Event run and closed Monday’s action by saying, “Bagging 11,975,000 with 37 min left at the 120k level. Made it to 27.” That Tweet had been Favorited almost 80 times.

Fan favorite Daniel Negreanu (pictured) is in ninth place with 8.4 million. We’re confident ESPN executives are praying to any deity they can name for the six-time bracelet winner to make the November Nine, which would undoubtedly increase interest in the tournament substantially. Negreanu has cashed three times already at the 2015 WSOP, including a third place run in the $10,000 Seven Card Stud Hi-Lo 8 or Better Championship for $113,000.

Twenty-second place belongs to New Jersey pokerplayer Josh asdf26 Beckley, who has 3.7 million. Beckley signed up for PocketFives last November and a post saying he was in the final 27 prompted the following reply from one New Jersey player: “Best of luck today ASDF!!! Will be so awesome to have one of our own in the Nov 9.”

Roommates Chad Power(pictured) and Christoph Brandboth made the final 27, as did Fedor CrownUpGuyHolz, who won the 2014 WCOOP Main Event for $1.3 million, won the Sunday 500 twice, and final tabled two Super High Roller events at the EPT Grand Final prior to this year’s WSOP, just to name a few accomplishments. Power, Holz, and Brand sit at 16th, 19th, and 21st on the leaderboard, respectively.

Everybody left is guaranteed $262,000 in prize money. The winner gets $7.6 million and every member of the November Nine will make at least $1 million.
