Partypoker is going on a world tour and giving poker players the chance to join them with the launch of partypoker Live. The new tour will be based around $5,300 buy-in main events with million dollar guarantees.

The announcement comes in the wake of a number of successful live events held under the partypoker banner in the last few months, most notably the Caribbean Poker Party last November in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.

“Listening to feedback from the players at the Caribbean Poker Party it was clear that there was a desire for events that not only offer high guaranteed prize pools but also fun off the felt,” said Tom Water, Group Head of partypoker. “With the 2017 partypoker LIVE events schedule, there will be something for everyone! Online qualifiers start from $0.01 on partypoker giving players the opportunity to travel all over the world to take part in some amazing events.”

The first partypoker Live event is slated for the popular Playground Poker Club in Montreal, Canada in May. The event, dubbed the partypoker Million North America, comes with a $5,000,000 guaranteed prize pool and a cool $1,000,000 guaranteed for the champion. It consists of three stages: Phase 1, Day 1, and Day 2. Phase 1 and Day 1 can be played online at partypoker.com or live at the Playground Poker Club, while everything Day 2 is played out live.

“We are thrilled to be hosting the first partypoker Million with our online partner, partypoker.,” said Phil Sabbah, Playground Chief Marketing Officer. “Kicking off the tour in Montreal, Canada gives all the North American players a first look at the amazing events partypoker will offer in 2017. We will also be featuring live phase 1’s in the club for all our players.”

Phase 1 of the partypoker Millon North America is already running both online and live with Day 1 events set to begin in April. To help promote the launch of the new Live tour, partypoker is awarding an additional $550 cash to the first 100 players to qualify online for Day 1. This $550 is not deducted from the prize pool and can be used for travel or other expenses.

The new tour also includes the creation of the partypoker Nationals events – $1,100 buy-in events with prize pool of at least $500,000.

Future partypoker Live dates and locations will be announced soon but look for Dusk Till Dawn, a long time partypoker partner and the largest poker room in the United Kingdom, to be included.
