Old school poker pros have seemed to have a leg up so far during the PokerStars Spring Championship of Online Poker, or SCOOP. Jason Mercier has won three titles already, while veterans mindgamer and veeea have earned six-figure paydaysfor wins. Enter Nicolas niccc Chouity (pictured), who won his second SCOOP title of 2015 on Wednesday, his third overall.

Chouity’s latest victory came in a $27 buy-in No Limit Omaha Hi/Lo SCOOP event that drew a healthy 2,353 players and had a prize pool that nearly broke $60,000. Sure, it wasn’t the richest event we’ve reported on, but it still had a sizable field. In the end, Chouity took home $9,200. Nine countries were represented at the final table:

1. Nicolas “niccc” Chouity (Lebanon): $9,244
2. Kurler7 (Canada): $6,931
3. Nunc Fluvium (Sweden): $5,031
4. Madam329 (Russia): $3,465
5. PIPON777 (Latvia): $2,599
6. MagodelSiam (Peru): $2,021
7. reijomo (Finland): $1,444
8. Demonic16 (Hungary): $982
9. zorba567 (Uruguay): $519

A double elimination ended matters and gave Chouity his third career SCOOP win. He’s the fourth player to win multiple SCOOP titles this year.

He has $3.6 million in online winnings in his PocketFives profile, including a $167,000 haul for taking down a $2,100 PLO Six-Max WCOOP event four years ago. His four largest online scores all come from SCOOP and WCOOP events. In addition, he won the Sunday 500 on PokerStars last December and earned $87,000.

Here are the three SCOOP events Chouity has earned gold in:

2015: $700 NLHE Six-Max, Variable Level Times, Ultra-Deep
2015: $27 NL Omaha Hi/Lo
2012: $109 PLO Cubed Turbo

He’s #1 on the all-time live money list for his native Lebanon, according to the Hendon Mob, and won the 2010 EPT Grand Final Main Event for $2.2 million. He has $3.1 million in career live winnings.
