Norwegians, rejoice! PocketFives member Anders DonaldBerg (pictured), who hails from your beloved nation, came away with the win on Friday in a $215 Pot Limit Omaha Six-Max event (#16) held as part of the ongoing PokerStars World Championship of Online Poker, or WCOOP. A bounty of $61,000 went to Berg, a member of Team PokerStars Online who trumped a field of nearly 2,000 players and recorded his largest tracked online poker tournament cash to date.

Berg, a three-time WCOOP bracelet winner, defeated Sweden’s N_O_S_I_E heads-up; second place was worth $45,000. Third place in Event #16 went to Canada’s shanedb1983, who plays on PokerStars under the screen name thegr8str8. Like Berg, shanedb1983 recorded his largest tracked cash on PocketFives, which weighed in at $34,000.

Also appearing at the six-handed final table was World Series of Poker bracelet winner Steve superowl99Jelinek (pictured), who scooped $15,000 for fifth place. Jelinek’s WSOP bracelet came last year in a $1,500 Pot Limit Omaha High-Low Split tournament and was good for nearly a quarter of a million dollars.
