'bosanac19808' almost became the first player to win two Sunday Majors on the same day since Pennsylvania launched online poker.

Online poker players in Pennsylvania are still enjoying a bit of a honeymoon phase on PokerStars PA. On Sunday, one player nearly pulled off a historic feat after chopping two PokerStars PA events and narrowly missed out on becoming the first player to win two Majors on the same day.

After outlasting 474 other players in the $100 Sunday Special, ‘Torrefy‘ and ‘bosanac19807‘ decided to talk chop. The official first place finish and $6,739.25 went to ‘Torrefy’ while while ‘bosanac19807’ scored a single penny more $6,739.26 as the official runner-up. The 476 player field made for a $43,696.80 prize pool.

As the night drew to a close, ‘bosanac19807’ was back in discussions on yet another deal. The final three players in the $50 Sunday Supersonic eventually split up just over $3,000 with ‘bosanac19807’ earning $1,055.02 and the title. ‘Mr.Robter‘ actually picked up the biggest payday of the three, coming in second place for $1,157.64 while the final player in the deal, ‘MsPersona‘, earned $940.59 for coming in third.

A familiar face to anybody who has been closely following the PA online poker scene won the biggest buy-in event on the Sunday slate. ‘deadtosolve‘ picked up $5,231.33 after an outright victory in the $250 Sunday High Roller. Another player who has been a regular at the Sunday Majors final tables, ‘aldrich801‘ finished in second place for a $3,597.31 bankroll boost and ‘garaw428‘ was the final player on the podium and earned $2,473.71.

The first event on the Sunday schedule, the $30 Sunday Warm-Up, drew 364 runners to push the total prize pool to $9,937.20, easily beating the $7,500 guarantee. ‘5BETCHET‘ outlasted the entire field to win $1,815.78. Runner-up ‘Parana989‘ took home $1,330.82 while third-place finisher ‘2EZzz19‘ had to settle for $975.48.

412JIM‘ worked their way through a 585-player field in the $10 Sunday Storm Six Max to earn the title and $936.87. Falling one spot short of the win, ‘pingy300‘ took home $652.45 while ‘FloptimusPrime1‘ came in third and won $454.61. The 585-player field created a $5,323.50 to push past the $5,000 guarantee.
