The Super Bowl didn't slow down the Sunday Majors action in Pennsylvania.

It seems even the Super Bowl couldn’t deter some of the best Pennsylvania online poker players from firing up a full slate of Sunday Majors on PokerStars PA. All but one of the five big tournaments managed to hit their mark on Sunday, with the Sunday Special the only event to have an overlay.

‘phishfood1426‘ topped the 283-player field in the $100 Sunday Special to earn $5,703.63. Runner-up ‘CamCo1214‘ earned $4,180.54 while ‘aldrich801‘ finished third and took home $3,064.32.

The day began with ‘Danieldanielson’ winning the Sunday Warm-Up for $1,414.63. ‘BDGEJLM‘, a regular in the Sunday Majors final tables, finished second for $1,043.14 while ‘air spuds‘ took home $769.37 for coming in third place.

The Sunday Storm drew 414 entries with ‘rrranglerrr‘ topping all of them for a $679.78 boost to their bankroll. ‘Unbelievable66‘ finished second for $474.85 and ‘Twopairdraws‘ rounded out the podium finishers for $231.96. Longtime PocketFiver Gilbert ‘YourPokerPastor’ Thurston just missed out, coming in fourth place for $231.96.

The $250 Sunday High Roller final table featured a few familiar faces with ‘neverf0ld111‘ besting the 54-entry field for $4,487.29. Runner-up ‘fubadbeatbob‘ earned $2,767.18 while ‘NeolithicFarmer’ earned $1,706.46 for coming in third place.

The final event on the slate, the $50 Sunday Supersonic, drew 91 entries. ‘laundryday1‘ beat ‘xSleek‘ heads-up to claim the title and the accompanying $1,015.78 payday. ‘xSleek‘ had to settle for the $746.90 runner-up prize. Third place went to ‘DEGENGOLF‘ for $549.23.
