The PokerStars Pennsylvania Championship of Online Poker continues to produce big fields and prize pools well past the guarantee and as the Day 2 events all soared past their guarantees, a number of players are beginning to emerge as consistent threats.

The first event on Sunday’s PACOOP schedule was Event #3 ($100 Deepstack Eight Max) that drew 377 total entries to produce a $34,608.60 prize pool on a $15,000 guarantee. ‘HeavyLizard‘ topped that field to win $6,297.59 while runner-up ‘suicidezekke‘ had to settle for $4,659.11. Third place finisher ‘Jobrashin55‘ earned $3,447.02.

Aubrey ‘RiverMeDaddy’ Williams finished fifth for $1,886.80.

When Democratic presidential nominee hopeful Andrew Yang came out in favor of online poker regulation, the poker world took notice. One Pennsylvania player went as far as to use it as inspiration for his screenname. Barrett ‘AndrewYang2020’ Lipkin took down Event #4 ($100 NLHE Big Antes) for a $3,646.44 score on Sunday. Second-place finisher ‘$tacksMcgee‘ picked up $2,781.91 while ‘FrosytheProsty‘ earned $2,122.47 for coming in third. The event had 202 total entries to create a prize pool of $18,543.60 against a $15,000 guarantee.

‘MrMonkeyJones‘ wasn’t monkeying around on his way to victory in Event #5 ($150 NLHE PKO) as he picked up $4,195.09 for outlasting the 276 other entries and scooped an additional $3,931.03 in bounties. The last bounty he picked up, ‘fubadbeatbob‘, earned $3,145.77 as the runner-up and had $1,549.54 in bounties of his own. Third-place finisher ‘buzzsaw2357‘ wound up taking home $2,358.99 from the prize pool and just $116.18 in bounties.

The marquee event on Sunday’s schedule each week is the Sunday Special. Normally a $40,000 guarantee, PACOOP pushed that guarantee to $50,000 for the first week and it had little trouble delivering. There were 247 unique entries and 94 total re-entries to create a $ 63,426 prize pool. ‘JustBlaze324‘ outlasted all of them to pick up $11,817.73 – the biggest score in PokerStars PA’s brief history – for the win. Runner-up ‘BJLUD76‘ earned $8,682.20 while ‘LemonCake122‘ rounded out the podium finishers and earned $6,378.74.

‘ToddLaxmen‘, the first player to sit in the high stakes cash games on launch day, finished in sixth for $2,529.58 while Aubrey ‘RiverMeDaddy’ Williams picked up her second final table appearance of the day, finishing ninth for $1,365.40.

The only non-Hold’em game on Sunday’s slate, Event #7 ($100 Six Max Pot Limit Omaha) had 182 total entries from 131 unique players to create a $16,707.60 prize pool on a $10,000 guarantee. ‘GetRoman‘ defeated Lipkin heads-up to earn $3,332.52 and deny ‘AndrewYang2020’ a second win on the day. Lipkin wound up with $2,540.88 while ‘youngmoney915‘ added $1,937.25 to his bankroll for a third-place result.

The event drew 300 entries for a $13,650 prize pool, beating the $10,000 guarantee. ‘LongSpur207‘ topped that field for the PACOOP title and $2,570.70. Runner-up ‘GretschBrooklyn‘ pocketed $1,910.45 and third-place finisher ‘Mr. Robter‘ earned $1,419.89.
