The latest edition of partypoker's POWERFEST features $20 million in guaranteed prizes.

With live poker events being canceled or postponed due to the coronavirus outbreak, grinders from around the world can count on online poker to keep them in action.

And it looks like partypoker’s POWERFEST will arrive just in time. The latest edition of partypoker’s premier online poker series kicks off on Sunday, March 15 and features $20,000,000 in guaranteed prize money over 145 events, spanning 15 days.

Fans of POWERFEST know the drill. The massive schedule, which contains 488 individual tournaments, is split into various buy-in levels. Players can splash around in Micro events, which start at just $0.55, or take a shot in the Super High Roller events that offer six-figure paydays.

The bulk of the series features No Limit Hold’em events with some Pot Limit Omaha tournaments on the schedule as well. What the series lacks in a variety of disciplines it makes up for in various formats. Progressive Knockouts, Six Max, Eight Max, Mix Max, Rebuy, and Freezout tournaments can be found throughout the schedule at every buy-in level.

High Rollers Galore

One of the things that partypoker is known for is continually running some of the biggest online tournaments in the industry. Expect to see some of poker’s most notable online grinders battling it out during POWERFEST with a schedule that contains five $5,200 Super High Roller tournaments, plus a $25,000 buy-in $2M GTD event on March 26.

In addition to those big buy-in events, there an another ten $2,100 High Roller events. Proving the popularity of Progressive Knockouts, nine of the ten High Roller tournaments will be played as PKOs

Take Home A Trophy

The entire POWERFEST culminates on Sunday, March 29 when partypoker will hold a series of eight Main Event tournaments. In total, the eight events promise $1.5 million in guarantees across four NLHE and four PLO tournaments, all of which will be played in the PKO format.

The buy-ins for the Main Events follow each of the buy-in levels with buy-ins at $5.50, $55, $320 and $2,100. All eight winners of the POWERFEST Main Events will not only take home a major boost to their bankroll but also will be shipped a physical trophy to commemorate the achievement.
