On Sunday at 19:00 UK Time, the PocketFives Open for non-US players returns to 888 Poker. This is the first PocketFives Open since November and, this time around, there’s $2,000 in added cash and prizes.

888 is generously adding $1,000 in cash to the prize pool, which will be distributed to the top five finishers. The winner of the PocketFives Open gets $400 in added cash, second place gets $250 in added cash, third place gets $150 in added cash, fourth place gets $125 in added cash, and fifth place gets $75 in added cash. This is in addition to the regular prize pool, which will be distributed just like any other tournament on 888.

Anyone with an 888 account is welcome to play and, again, this promotion is only open to players outside of the United States. This is the 46th running of the PocketFives Open. The reigning non-US champ is Poland’s ‘michal1h‘, who won it back on November 11. The very first PocketFives Open winner was ‘BubbaKGB’, who won the Open on PokerRoom in December 2005. Other winners have included PocketFives Elite member ‘wackyJaxon‘ and former 27th ranked player Frank ‘gator93’ Hernandez.
