PocketFives Rankings: C Darwin2 Cracks Top 10 for First Time

For the first time ever, Sweden’s C Darwin2cracked the top 10 of the PocketFives Rankings. The leaderboard was recalculated on Wednesday and C Darwin2 jumped 10 spots to land at #10. His top 10 showing was due in part to two wins on Winamax this month: a victory in the Grand for $36,000 and a win in the High Roller on Tuesday for another $8,200.

C Darwin2 is up to $3.1 million in career online tournament winnings, the largest of which was worth almost $200,000 and came via a gold in the W Series Million Event in September that netted him over 1,000 PLB Points, the metric used to determine the Rankings.

There wasn’t a lot of movement in the top 10 this week. Fellow Swede eisenhower1 remained the top dog for the second straight week with 8,119 PLB Points, a full 1,300 more than the next closest person. He made mincemeat of the recently-completed WCOOP, winning a $700 No Limit Hold’em Cubed event for $133,000 and taking down a Second Chance tournament for $22,000.

Outside of the top 10, Denmark’s IgorK(pictured) jumped 19 spots to land at #35. He final tabled the PokerStarsSunday $109 Rebuy last month for $35,000 and had wins on back-to-back days in the PartyPokerSuper High Roller and 888 Poker Volcano for $52,000 combined.

Another Swede, inhoo, moved up 33 spots to #44 in the world. He logged three five-figure cashes on October 4: a final table in the PokerStars $109 No Limit Hold’em Turbo, an eighth place finish in the Sunday Million, and a third place finish in the $215 No Limit Hold’em Turbo. Those three scores were worth over $35,000 combined. Good day.

norfair18 reentered the top 100 worldwide at #85. He was ranked #1 on our site earlier this year and won the PokerStars $215 No Limit Hold’em Turbo a few days ago for $20,000. norfair18 is up to $1.7 million in career online MTT winnings.

Right behind norfair18 is pcayobh, who entered the top 100 at #86. The Brazilian was the winner of the Sunday Million over the weekend and pocketed $177,000, his largest tournament score ever.
