Another week, another PocketFives Rankingsupdate. This time, a familiar face returned to the top 10: eisenhower1. The Swede moved up 14 spots and now sits at #8 in the world, six off his all-time high. Can he make a run at #1?

The Swede has had an overly productive last few days. Since July 19, he has finished second in the PartyPokerSunday Major for $17,000 and won the PokerStars.fr Hot €100 Turbo, PartyPoker Super High Roller, and PokerStars Big $75 for a combined $20,000. He just passed $7 million in online MTT winnings and is $300,000 shy of hitting $7.5 million, the threshold for a brand new badge in his PocketFives profile.

Continuing his reign at #1 this week is Nico PokerKaiser Fierro (pictured), who has ruled the roost on PocketFives since the beginning of May. Fierro has about a 400-point lead over second place and continues to churn out win after win. In the last three days, he has taken down the PokerStars $35,000 Guaranteed and Hot $55 Turbo for over $17,000 combined, bringing his career win total to 319.

Jon apestylesVan Fleet just hit $7 million in online tournament winnings after finishing third in the Sunday Million over the weekend for almost $90,000. The 538 PLB Points he reaped for that score helped propel him 19 spots higher in the Rankings; he’s now at #14. Van Fleet was ranked as high as #3 on PocketFives in 2007 and is the #1 player in the poker factory of Canada.

Jumping up 33 spots this week was Romania’s Narcisus90, who ended up at #43. His big claim to fame this month is winning the PokerStars Thursday Thrill for $40,000 and 461 PLB Points at a final table that had five PocketFivers. He is closing in on $1 million in online tournament scores and is the #3 ranked player in Romania.

Reentering the top 100 worldwide was UK’s 1_conor_b_1 (pictured), who comes in at #71. In the last four days, the York resident has won the PokerStars $10,000 Guaranteed and $109 NLHE Turbo and final tabled the Sunday 500 and Sunday Second Chance. He has $1.6 million in career winnings on PokerStars alone.

Finally, from #80 to #87 in the world in the Rankings, you’ll find four Brazilians, one of whom is Joao joaosimaobhSimao. He reentered the top 100 at #86 and has $3.1 million in online tournament cashes. He plays as INeedMassarion PokerStars. Check out our Brazil poker community.
