Swedes continue to make waves atop the PocketFives Online Poker Rankings. They occupy the top two spots, three of the top seven spots, and seven of the top 19 spots. Making waves this week was Sweden’s lena900, who moved up nine places to #7 in the world, four off his all-time high.

He has had a blockbuster month of October so far and still has another 10 days to bank even more. On the fourth of the month, lena900 took down the 888 Poker Turbo Mega Deep for $11,000. One day later, he rolled to victory in the bwin Super High Roller and put back another $13,000.

On October 11, lena900 won the PokerStars.fr Sunday High Roller for $10,000 and followed that up with a gold medal one week later in the PokerStars Sunday Kickoff for $28,000. He now has 70 tracked wins and $3.4 million in total cashes in online MTTs. lena900 has 2,353 in the money finishes at an average of $1,470 each.

Uruguay’s veeea (pictured) also reentered the top 10 this week. He was ranked as high as #2 on our site earlier this year and rose nine spots to #10 on Wednesday. He finished second in the PokerStars Sunday Six-Max over the weekend for $14,000 and final tabled the site’s Sunday Supersonic the same day for another $18,000. He is nearing $3 million in online poker cashes on PokerStars alone.

eisenhower1 remains the top dog on PocketFives this week. He just passed $7.7 million in online tournament winnings and added to his war chest over the weekend by winning the 888 Crocodile for $16,000. This is the fourth week that eisenhower1 has been the #1 ranked player on PocketFives. He leads the way by 1,300 points over the next closest person.

Another Swedish player, AnteSvante, moved up from #42 to #15 this week on the strength of nine tournament wins in the last 11 days. Yes, nine. The largest of those came over the weekend in the PokerStars Sunday Supersonic, as he took it down for $46,000. He has 133 tracked wins all-time and is nearing $6 million in online tournament scores.

Russia’s NoPlanB (pictured) moved up 40 spots this week to settle at #43 in the world. His big splash came over the weekend in the Sunday Warm-Up, a tournament he took down for $79,000 and 710 PLB Points. He is the fourth-ranked player in Russia and reached an all-time high in the Rankings of #34 earlier this year.

Finally, we wanted to talk about Finland’s European, who moved up 49 spots to #46. He won the Sunday 500 on October 11 for $49,000 and proceeded to final table last weekend’s Saturday Super Knockout for another $18,000.
