The battle between Cal cal42688Anderson and Caio pessagnoPessagno (pictured) is heating up. This week, Anderson retained the top spot in the PocketFives Online Poker Rankings, but we could soon see a changing of the guard, as the two are separated by a scant 25 PLB Points, or less than one-half of one percent of both players’ PLB totals.

InterPokerhas been securely dealing cards since 2002. The recently re-launched site offers a wide array of promotionslike $10 cash free for new players as well as a 25K race for SnG players. Check out the new and improved InterPoker.

Anderson climbed back to the top spot last Wednesday, his sixth stint at #1. No PocketFiver has retained a #1 ranking for longer than five weeks since February of this year, as Anderson, Pessagno, and Legenden have continually knocked each other off. This week, appropriately, Legenden sits at #3 worldwide, the same position he could be found at last week. Legenden trails Anderson by 400 PLB Points and calls Belarus home.

Sweden’s r4ndomr4gsclimbed six spots to #17 worldwide this week, his highest position ever. He just passed $2.5 million in tracked cashes in his PocketFives profile and received a boost after taking fifth in the 888 Poker Whale over the weekend for $12,000. On Tuesday, he won the Full Tilt Poker Benjamin, amassing $5,500 and 145 PLB Points.

Grayson gray31Ramage (pictured) moved up 11 spots to #19 worldwide, 12 places short of his highest position ever in the PocketFives Rankings. Ramage has continued to excel as of late, taking down the PokerStarsHotter $44 over the weekend for $14,000. The Costa Rica poker community member is about to pass $3.7 million in tracked scores and plays on Full Tilt Poker under the user name swish3113.

Reaching his highest mark ever in the Rankings was Mexico’s DownByDaBridge, who climbed from #49 to #35. He took second in the Sunday Kickoff over the weekend and pocketed $17,000. On July 17, he won the PokerStars $25,000 Guaranteed and boosted his poker roll by $8,400. He is #4 in Mexico and #2 in Baja California Sur.

Former #1 player Christopher NigDawG Brammer, who last reached #1 in March 2012, rose from #50 to #37 on the strength of a final table in the PokerStars Sunday 500 four days ago for $11,000. He returned to the felts last week after a two-month hiatus for the World Series of Poker in Nevada.

One of the biggest jumps in the top 100 this week belonged to Shyam s_dot111Srinivasan (pictured), who rose 37 spots to settle at #49. He scored big on Sunday by taking down the PokerStars Bigger $109 for a commanding $43,000, defeating fellow PocketFives member Wrang heads-up. It was his 144th tracked online MTT win.

Finally, we wanted to single out Brazil’s Kkremate, who went up from #84 worldwide to #51, a 33-spot boost. He won the PokerStars Big $162 one week ago for $18,000, increasing his PLB score by 317 points. He is the #2 ranked player in all of Brazil.
