It’s Wednesday, which means we have recalculated the PocketFives Online Poker Rankings. Finland’s Europeanchopped the PokerStars Sunday Million over the weekend for $185,000. The result was a trip to the top five of the Rankings and a 1,156-PLB Point boost. European has $1.6 million in online tournament winnings and three six-figure scores to his credit.

Other than his Sunday Million win, European finished second in a SCOOP $1,200 No Limit Hold’em Six-Max event in May of last year for $223,000 and final tabled this year’s SCOOP Mid-Stakes Main Event for $131,000. Other wins include the Bigger $162, Wednesday Hundred Grand, and Bigger $22 on PokerStars, just to name a few.

We also have a new #1 player on PocketFives this week. After a one-week reign at #1, Patrick pleno1Leonard (pictured) dropped one spot to #2. Replacing him is p0cket00, who has 7,667 PLB Points and leads Leonard by 140. p0cket00 has the second most online tournament winnings of anyone on PocketFives at $8 million.

Russia’s veeea moved up 13 spots to land at #12 this week. He finished second in FTOPS Event #30 three days ago for $33,000, his third five-figure score of August. He is $19,000 shy of hitting $3 million in tracked scores and sits at his highest spot ever in the Rankings.

Inside the top 100, one of the biggest jumps of the week went to Nick fu_15 Maimone, who rose to #25 from #60. Maimone won last week’s PokerStars Super Tuesday for almost $120,000 and amassed almost 800 PLB Points in the process. He has been a member of PocketFives since 2007 and finished 15th in the 2009 World Series of Poker Main Event in Las Vegas.

After reentering his poker site names this week, Brazil’s Yuri Martinsis slotted at #36 in the world, six off his all-time high set in 2011. Martins won the PokerStars $100 Rebuy over the weekend for $14,000 and took down the 888 Poker Mega Deep on August 10 for another $30,000. He has nearly $3 million in online tournament winnings and is the #2 player in Brazil.

Moving up 32 spots to land at #52 is Austria’s mindgamer. You might recall he was ranked #1 on our site last year and won the PokerStars Big $162 one week ago for $20,000 and 331 PLB Points. He plays as Jedi AllStar on Full Tilt Poker if you’re trying to keep tabs on him.
