For the second straight week, we have a new #1 player atop the PocketFives Online Poker Rankings, which are recalculated every Wednesday. This time, it’s Sweden’s Sheater, who was last ranked #1 in January. This is Sheater’s second stint at #1, a spot no player has held for more than four weeks since the middle of last year.

Sheater moved up two spots to #1 and has a slim four-point edge over Chris moorman1Moorman, last week’s #1 who now sits at #2 and just won a World Poker Tour titlein Los Angeles. Sheater finished third in the PokerStars Sunday Six-Max over the weekend for $17,000 and 224 PLB Points, and incredibly has 22 tracked in the money finishes with two wins since Sunday.

Another former #1 making waves this week was Vinkyy (pictured), who moved up three spots to reenter the top 10 at #8 worldwide. Vinkyy was last ranked #1 in October and has $5.2 million in tracked scores. He is about 800 PLB Points away from eclipsing Sheater for #1, so he has some ground to make up, but just passed 5,000 tracked in the money finishes, one of the highest totals of anyone on PocketFives.

One of the biggest jumps of the week inside the top 100 went to Malta’s fzkk, who just won his second PocketFives Triple Crown. He moved up from #52 worldwide to #23, a jump of 29 spots, and recently recorded five wins in four days to help push him toward the top 20. The Malta player earned his $1 million cash badge on PocketFives on March 6.

Leaping 23 spots to settle at #44 in the world is 23NoraB, who calls Austria home. He is another March Triple Crown winner and can be found at #4 in his home nation. Other than his third Triple Crown, his big claim to fame in recent days is taking down the Full Tilt Poker T-Rex for $33,000 on Sunday, earning 380 PLB Points in the process. He has 159 tracked wins that have helped boost his career earnings to $3.5 million.

Canada’s blanconegrowon the Full Tilt $250,000 Guarantee over the weekend for $55,000 and a solid 524 PLB Points to move up 24 places in the Rankings to #59. He received his $3 million cash badge on Wednesday, the same day as the Rankings were updated, and seems poised to shatter his all-time high of #40 worldwide, set last year.

The highest debut in the top 100 of the Rankings went to Poland’s TryToExploit (pictured), who entered at #71, three places off his highest position ever. TryToExploit won the PokerStars Sunday Million last weekend for 1,348 PLB Points officially, the largest score of the week on any site. He finished 68th in the PokerStars Eighth Anniversary Sunday Million on March 2, which earned him 210 PLB Points.
