We’re seeing a dynasty of sorts at the top of the PocketFives Rankings, as for the third straight week Canada’s p0cket00is #1 worldwide. Since March, we’ve had one player – Sheater – be ranked #1 for longer than three weeks, and no player has been #1 for longer than four weeks since last October.

p0cket00 could be setting himself up to be #1 for a fourth straight week come July 23, when the Rankings are recalculated, as he has a nearly 300 PLB Point lead over Sweden’s r4ndomr4gs, who is #2 once again this week. p0cket00 won the Sunday Deep Ticket for $25,000 on June 29 for 353 PLB Points, but has recorded just one in the money finish since July 1.

Jumping from #42 worldwide to #17 this week is Cal cal42688Anderson (pictured above), another former #1 player in the Rankings. Anderson is fresh off winning his first World Series of Poker bracelet, doing so in a $1,500 Seven Card Stud High-Low Eight or Better tournament in June. He won the PokerStars Sunday $100 Rebuy over the weekend for $37,000 officially and was quickly back to owning souls online. We can’t make this stuff up.

Ukraine poker player accussity(pictured) moved up to #29 this week from #52 thanks to six tracked wins since June 25. He is the #2 player in Ukraine and has $1.5 million in online MTT scores. On PokerStars, you can hunt him down under the screen name Fukuruku.

Just a few days after seeing his country win the World Cup in Brazil, Germany’s nilsefrose from #80 to #47 in the world. He has been on a tear so far in July, winning seven tournaments online, one for every goal Germany scored against Brazil, to bring his total to 193. He’s at $2.8 million in online winnings and plays on PokerStars.fr under the screen name Pr0llhead.

The highest new entrant into the top 100 in the Rankings is Hungary’s blackDonii, who can be found at #88, his highest position ever. He won the PokerStars $109 Cubed on Tuesday for nearly $9,000 and is the top-ranked player in his home country. Right behind him on the leaderboard at #90 is another new entrant, aguskb, who lives in the poker haven of Playa del Carmen, Mexico.
