On July 2, Canada’s p0cket00(pictured) ascended to the top of the PocketFives Poker Rankingsand stayed there for six straight weeks. It was the longest run by any player since pessagno‘s eight weeks at #1 that started in August of last year. Then, p0cket00 was bucked by pleno1 on August 13 for one week, but quickly returned to the top spot on August 20. Now, we could see another streak forming, as p0cket00 is ranked #1 for the third straight week.

p0cket00 has 7,499 PLB Points, leading second-ranked r4ndomr4gs by 300. He is up to almost $25,000 in online tournament scores already this month despite the fact that September is just two days old and seems poised for another lengthy run at the top of the Rankings.

Russia’s MAMOHT_T moved up from #22 to #13 this week on the strength of a win in the 888 Poker Mega Deep over the weekend for $32,000 and 358 PLB Points. He just passed $4.5 million in career winnings and is the second-ranked player in his home country.

Australia online poker player djn873was up 28 spots to settle at #53 this week, one of the biggest jumps in the top 100. This is his highest position ever in the Rankings and came by virtue of winning the 888 Poker Whale on August 24 for $54,000 and 447 PLB Points. The same day, he final tabled 888’s Sunday Challenge for another $8,500.

Austria’s mindgamer(pictured) moved up from #50 to #37 after a rock solid Sunday that saw him finish fifth in the Full TiltSuper Sized Sunday, sixth in the PokerStars Sunday 500, and first in the Stars $162 Sunday Six-Max for nearly $50,000 combined. He stands at $3.6 million in online MTT winnings and was formerly ranked #1 here on PocketFives.

Canada’s SSSMforlife, whom we are actually interviewing while we write this article, final tabled the PokerStars Sunday Million over the weekend for $75,000 and over 500 PLB Points. The day before, he took second in the Big $109 for $17,000. Number 70 worldwide is his best ranking ever and he stands at $1.1 million in online tournament winnings.
