Sweden’s r4ndomr4gsbecame the #1 player in the PocketFives Poker Rankingsthis week. The Gothenburg resident moved up from #2 to #1 this week on the strength of a runner-up finish in the PokerStars Sunday 500 over the weekend for $44,000 and nearly 400 PLB Points. r4ndomr4gs has over $4 million in online MTT cashes, the largest of which was worth $174,000 and came via an ECOOP win in 2009.

r4ndomr4gs has 8,236 PLB Points, about 250 ahead of fellow Swede lukethafluke, who is in second place worldwide with 7,970. Three of the top four players in the PocketFives Rankings are from Sweden, which incidentally overtook Canada in the PocketFives’ Country Poker Rankings for the top spot this week after briefly losing its stranglehold on #1.

Austria’s huiiiiiiiiii(pictured) moved up from #11 worldwide to #6. He has exactly 50 cashes already this month for a combined $47,000 and is closing in on 100 first place finishes for his career. If you’re playing on Full Tilt, you can find the Austrian under the user name IneedMoneyXX.

Jumping 17 spots to land at #25 was buckguy 2200, who was ranked as high as #11 earlier this year. The Playa del Carmen, Mexico poker player is about $100,000 away from $3 million in online scores and won the PokerStars Big $162 six days ago for $15,000. His largest score we’ve tracked came last December in a WCOOP Challenge win for $198,000.

Latvia’s sikosomatik moved up from #52 worldwide to #38, or 14 spots, after taking down the PokerStars.fr Sunday High Roller on June 8 and then finishing second in the PokerStars $215 Weekly Turbo four days ago for another $12,000. sikosomatik has $594,000 in online cashes and is the top-ranked player in Latvia.

Debuting in the top 100 this week at #81 was Germany’s nilsef, who won the PokerStars $109 No Limit Hold’em Turbo Cubed earlier this month for $10,000 and has 183 career wins. He is up to $2.7 million in online winnings and is the second-ranked player in Germany.

Finally, we wanted to single out England’s jenbizzle(pictured), who reached his highest position ever in the Rankings at #82. He has 47 tracked cashes this month for $37,000 total and, over his career, has taken down the PokerStars Sunday Warm-Up, Sunday Supersonic, Bigger $162, and Full Tilt $250,000 Guarantee, among other tournaments. He also won a SCOOP $215 No Limit Hold’em Four-Max event last month.
