We had two new entries into the top 10 of the PocketFives Poker Player Rankingsthis week. In fact, both came from the 20s in a very impressive showing. We’ll start with Costa Rica’s Nicholas rounder63 Carrillo (pictured), who moved up from #20 to #5, his highest slotting ever. He has a healthy $4.4 million in tracked scores.

Carrillo won the PartyPoker$100,000 Guaranteed High Roller over the weekend for $14,000 and 327 PLB Points one day after taking down the PokerStarsBig $162 for $21,000 and 346 PLB Points. All told, he has 220 tracked wins and over 600 top-three finishes. Carrillo now sits with 6,952 PLB Points, 650 away from the #1 overall ranking, which belongs to Sweden’s Sheater.

The other new entry from the 20s was Germany’s overthetop43, who moved up 19 spots to settle at #10. He is $3,000 away from cracking $2 million in lifetime scores and finished third in the weekend’s Sunday Supersonic for $31,000 and 291 PLB Points. The same day, he took down the PokerStars $265 No Limit Hold’em Knockout for $16,000 and the same 291 points. He is the top-ranked player in Germany and, like Carrillo, has reached his highest ranking ever.

Brian bparisParis (pictured), who was ranked #5 worldwide earlier this year, moved up 10 places to #12. Paris has the eighth highest cash total of any PocketFiver at $6.6 million and took down the PokerStars $55 No Limit Hold’em Turbo 2X Chance on March 16 for $14,000 and 279 PLB Points. Paris has nearly 7,000 tracked in the money finishes and is a two-time PocketFives Triple Crown winner. We could very well see him reenter the top 10 next Wednesday when the Rankings are recalculated.

Also shooting up the charts this week was Portugal’s JDias99, who final tabled the PokerStars Sunday 500 over the weekend for $44,000 and 351 PLB Points. The same day, he finished sixth in the 888 Poker Mega Deep and bagged another $3,000. JDias99 moved up from #25 in the world to #13 and has $67,000 in earnings from 30 scores this month.

Leaping almost 30 spots in the Rankings was Russia’s MAMOHT_T, who landed at #38 after being ranked #67 last week. He won the weekend’s Full Tilt $250,000 Guaranteed for $52,000 and a massive 513 PLB Points to help his cause and is on the verge of earning a $4 million cash badge. He is #1 in Russia and was once ranked as high as #8 in the world on PocketFives.

Finally, we wanted to single out moneyinbag (pictured), who had one of the biggest movements in the top 100, rising from #90 to #57, his best ranking ever. He was the runner-up in the Sunday Second Chance over the weekend for $37,000 and 366 PLB Points and took down the PokerStars $265 No Limit Hold’em Knockout for $14,000 a week before that.
