Pokerfest Returns to WPT Poker
The second incarnation of Pokerfestwill make its way to WPT Pokerstarting on April 22nd and running through May 6th. This time around, 47 tournaments will be held in addition to a bevy of side events. A $1 million guaranteed Main Event will serve as the culmination of the series and, all told, $3.5 million in guaranteed prize money is up for grabs during Pokerfest II. Moreover, a 2012 World Series of Poker package worth $14,000 will be dished out, which makes Pokerfest II truly exciting.
The buy-ins for Pokerfest tournaments start at five points, giving players of all bankrolls the chance to participate in high-stakes poker. And that’s exactly what we would expect from WPT Poker, which makes its home on the same network as PartyPoker and has quite a few promotions geared toward beginning players. Each day will see three to four events played, spread out over low, medium, and high buy-ins.
