Despite the recent upheaval of the industry in the United States, the 20th Full Tilt Online Poker Series, or FTOPS, rolled on in recent days and features a bounty of cash on the line this weekend. In FTOPS XX action so far, Chile’s Nicolas PokerKaiserFierro (pictured) finished second in a $109 No Limit Hold’em Six-Max Rebuy Multi-Entry tournament (Event #10) for $56,000. The un-chopped contest featured a field of 1,231 and the $84,000 first place score belonged to bv4ever.

The 47th player in the PocketFives.com Rankings, Fierro logged one of his largest online poker scores to date. His biggest came back in April 2010, when he was the runner-up in a $1,000 No Limit Hold’em FTOPS tournament for $181,000. Fierro also has victories in the PartyPokerMonthly Million and PokerStars Super Tuesday.

Also at the final table of Event #10 was João Simão, who walked away with $29,000 for his fourth place finish. The Brazilian is a PokerStars World Championship of Online Poker (WCOOP) event winner; he banked $78,000 for taking down a $215 WCOOP Heads-Up tournament last September.
