Nick Petrangelo won a WCOOP High Roller earlier this year – the new PokerStars High Roller series could be right up his alley.

There’s good news for both the high rollers and high stakes railbirds alike, as PokerStars has just announced a new big-buy-in tournament series with over $11.5 million in guarantees.

The series, simply named ‘High Rollers’, features 22 tournaments and runs from November 26 – December 4, with buy-ins ranging from $1,050 to $10,300. The schedule leads up to the PokerStars Championship event in Prague, which runs December 7 – 18. It also conflicts with the Five Diamond Poker Classic at the Bellagio in Las Vegas, which goes November 24 – December 10.

Both No Limit Hold’em and Omaha are covered, as are a variety of structures including slow blind levels, turbos, progressive knockouts, rebuys and zoom.

The biggest buy-in events on the schedule are the $10,300 No Limit Hold’em (Nov 28) with 20-minute levels and $1 million guaranteed, and the $10,300 No Limit Hold’em Progessive Knockout (also with a million guaranteed).

All eyes will be on the $2,100 Main Event, which starts on December 3rd. It comes with the biggest guarantee of the lot – $2 million – and players are allowed one re-entry.
