A look behind all the numbers from the PokerStars PA Winter Series.

Online poker players in Pennsylvania apparently didn’t hate Winter. The PokerStars PA Winter Series has come and gone with 24 of the 30 events on the calendar surpassing the guarantee and a number of new players emerging as some of the best the Keystone State has to offer.

‘CL911129’ Dominates Winter Series Leaderboard

Thanks largely to a pair of wins, first in Event #12 ($50 NLHE Battle Royale SE) and then six days later in Event #27 ($100 NLHE Progressive KO), ‘CL911129‘ topped the PocketFives Leaderboard. They also had seven other cashes to push their PLB points total to 641.54. They were the only player to break the 600-point barrier.

After failing to pick up a win in the PokerStars Pennsylvania Championship of Online Poker despite cashing 15 times, ‘mcmullend17‘ found the winner’s circle in Event #20 ($200 NLHE Thursday Thrill) and cashed nine more times – including a streak of five in a row – to finish second on the leaderboard with 588.5 points.

Thanks to a series-leading 13 cashes and a win in Event #30 ($100 NLHE PKO TURBO), ‘A Frequent ?‘ came in third on the leaderboard, amassing 558.03 points.

Main Event Victory Propels ‘youbestnotmiss’ To Top of Earnings List

Taking down the Winter Series Main Event gave ‘youbestnotmiss‘ a $22,565.73 payday and more than enough to lead the entire series in winnings by a wide margin. No other player even came within $5,000 of the Omar Little fan.

Main Event runner-up ‘ohhhhJAYbird‘ also finished one spot behind ‘youbestnotmiss’ on the earnings list. Along with the $16,636.29 they earned in the Main Event, they also picked up $314.62 in Event #30 to finish with $16,950.91.

Not surprisingly, ‘CL911129’ also factored in the earnings leaderboard after leading the PLB leaderboard. They earned $2,464.25 for the Event #12 win, $2,180.19 for the victory in Event #27 and also picked up $1,687.31 in Event #17 ($500 NLHE High Roller Six Max) to finish with $16,179.41.

‘CleggsOnGG’, who finished seventh on the PACOOP earnings list late last year, finished one spot higher on the Winter Series leaderboard and was the only player to make the top 10 of both.

‘A Frequent ?’ Most Frequent Casher

With 13 cashes through the 30 events, ‘A Frequent ?‘ was far and away the most frequent casher. Those cashes turned into $10,570.27 in earnings, with the Event #30 victory, worth $1,769.38, acting as an exclamation point on a successful series.

Three players, ‘mcmullend17‘, ‘ChrundleTheGr8‘, and ‘Parana989‘, tied for the second most cashes with 10.

Nobody started the Winter Series with a bigger bang than ‘mcmullend17’. They cashed in Event #1, #3, and then rattled off those five consecutive cashed in Events #5-#9.

‘ChrundleTheGr8’ had the reverse happen, picking up four of their 10 cashes in the final seven events to finish with $5,280.97 in winnings.

‘Parana989’ was the only one of the group who failed to pick up a single victory. Their biggest cash came in Event #23 ($100 NLHE) where they finished fourth for $1,558.13.
