The big guns were out in full force on Thursday as the partypoker POWERFEST schedule included three Super High Roller events and another eight High Roller events.

The single largest buy-in event on this POWERFEST schedule wrapped up on Thursday with ‘Piace1992‘ beating 89 other entries in Event #109-SHR ($25,550 No Limit Hold’em) to win $596,250. Just 10 days ago, they won Event #19-H ($215 Mix Max NLHE Fast) where the guarantee was lower than Thursday’s buy-in and first place paid $10,261.56. Runner-up ‘MeisterTTT‘ won $416,250 while ‘SuperNutz‘ grabbed a $292,500 score for finishing in third place.

Event #110-SHR ($5,200 No Limit Hold’em) had 103 entries with ‘CocaineKiller‘ beating all of them to earn $126,175. ‘TheseApples‘ came in second for $90,125 and ‘onehundredeyez‘ added yet another podium finish to their resume and $64,375 to their bankroll as the third place finisher.

It was also a big day for Team partypoker Pros. Sam Trickett took down Event #112-SHR ($5,200 Six Max Pot Limit Omaha) for $104,000. The runner-up prize of $66,545 went to ‘sukamibosak‘ and ‘idefix‘ had to settle for a third place finish and the accompanying $33,800 payday.

Fellow pro Joni ‘JJouhki’ Jouhkimainen finished fourth in that event for $23,400, but that wasn’t his biggest score of the day. The Finn beat out 268 other entries in Event #110-HR ($530 Eight Max NLHE PKO Fast) to win $10,577.12 and another $15,011.87 in bounties. ‘P0kerpr02.0‘ finished second for $10,563.49 and just $1,214.06 while the third place finisher, ‘N0GUTSNOGloryAA‘, actually earned more thanks to his $7,413.83 take from the prize pool and $5,036.76 worth of bounties.

That was one of two runner-up finishes for ‘P0kerpr02.0’. ‘EmpireMaker‘ took home $59,455.01 for winning Event #107-HR ($1,050 Six Max NLHE) while ‘P0kerpr02.0’ earned $39,215 for coming in second place. Third place went to ‘LickMyCev‘ for $27,880.09.
