Saturday was another busy day for the partypoker POWERFEST series with 17 events on the schedule. Five of those events were in the High Roller category with buy-ins from $530 up to $2,100.

The largest buy-in event on the calendar also produced the single biggest score of the day, but only because of a dominating performance by the eventual champion. ‘pkrbt‘ beat Team partypoker Pro Joni ‘JJouhki’ Jouhkimainen heads-up to win Event #63-HR ($2,100 Six Max PLO PKO Battle Fast) for $16,146.72 and another $28,481.25 in bounties for a $44,627.97 payday. Jouhkimainen had to settle for $16,134.27 from the prize pool and $7,218.75 worth of bounties. Third place finisher ‘Dandelion32892‘ won $8,608.25 and another $3,937.50 in bounties.

One day after finishing runner-up in Event #53-HR ($1,050 Mix Max NLHE PKO), ‘CharlesBarkley‘ shed the bridesmaid tag by beating out 130 other entries in Event #58-HR ($530 Six Max NLHE Grind) for a $16,499.90 score and title. Finishing one spot back was ‘StepInTheArena‘ for $11,135 while ‘Thanksalot‘ earned $7,860 for coming in third place.

‘StrawberryGirl‘ took down Event #60-HR ($530 Six Max PLO w/rebuys) for $28,000. The 52-player field rebought a total of 64 times and added-on 24 times to build a $70,000 prize pool, well past the original $30,000 guarantee. Runner-up ‘iMightPot‘ won $17,916.15 and third place came with a $9,100 scaore of ‘NILAos‘.

It took an A+ performance in Event #61-HR ($530 Six Max NLHE PKO Battle Fast) for ‘aaaaaaaaaaaaa‘ to win $7,286.62 from the prize pool and another $8,523.12 in bounties. Falling one spot short of a title came with a consolation prize of $7,278.59 and $2,592.19 worth of bounties for ‘onehundredeyez‘. ‘Hendlman69’ earned $5,120.55 and $3,830.88 worth of bounties for a bronze medal finish.

‘ClubsMaker‘ topped the 199-player field in Event #63-HR ($1,050 No Limit Hold’em PKO) to grab $16,041.59 from the prize pool and another $26,709.44 worth of bounties. Runner-up ‘Zeds_dead_baby‘ took home $16,021.65 and $4,183.59 in bounties. Third place finisher ‘kgroqigmqtbmqom‘ wound up taking home $11,427.93 and another $9,105.47 worth of bounties.
