David 'bewater' Goodman continues his run as Nevada's #1.

Bobby ‘bcm4924’ McLawhorn continues to lead the list of Nevada’s top online players headed into a summer of World Series of Poker bracelet events and million dollar guarantees.

After taking off the majority of the month, McLawhorn (2,941.29 PLB points) returned to the online felts in late May to grind up 19 results, seven of which had qualifying PLB scores. In total, McLawhorn amassed over $17,500 in 11 days. His results were headlined by his victory in Event #30 of WSOP.com‘s Coast 2 Coast series, the $22,222 NLHE for which he won $6,805.

In the recent months, McLawhorn had held a comfortable PLB point lead over anyone looking to usurp his #1 ranking. However, with increased prize pools due to the introduction of shared liquidity, there are some new challengers to the throne for the Silver State. Last month, Jed ‘JCHAK’ Hoffman (2,800.40) was a distant 600 points behind McLawhorn.

In May, Hoffman accumulated 13 qualifying scores helping push Nevada’s #2-ranked player to within 141 points of the leader. Hoffman did plenty of work in WSOP.com’s Coast 2 Coast promotion and spiked a five-figure score in Event #7. His runner-up finish was good for $21,837 and 256.03 PLB points. It was an online career-high score for the Reno resident, who is quickly approaching the $1 million lifetime mark.

Another new challenger that has emerged is the #3-ranked David ‘beware’ Goodman (2,385.63). Ranked #7 under the screen name ‘MastAAce08’ last month, Goodman put together a stellar May that included 12 PLB scores, six podium finishes (three of which were outright victories) and eight four-figure scores. He took home a victory in the Coast 2 Coast promotion in Event #21 for over $6,400 and 153.93 PLB points.

Making room for Goodman and slipping one spot is Las Vegas grinder ‘wsopfreezer’ (2,151.35). His screen name suggests he’ll be firing in all four of the upcoming WSOP.com online bracelet events, the first of which is set to take place on June 3. ‘wsopfreezer’ had a busy May, cashing in over 30 tournaments, including a third-place finish in the WSOP.com $25,000 Weekly Sunday for over $4,200.

Jason ‘Roberts34’ Roberts (2,035.26) continues to enjoy a top 5 ranking in Nevada as well. This, despite taking a break from the online grind for the entire month of May. Perhaps, with the WSOP starting up, Roberts will return to make a charge at the top spot.

New month, same grind for #6-ranked Jake ‘Wolf_51’ Didonato (1,885.03).  As in previous months, Didonato put in a limited schedule in May, only cashing in five total events. However, he makes each cash count. Every one of Didonato’s results provided PLB points and he earned over $10,000 in total. His top score of May was his runner-up finish in the WSOP $25,000 Weekly Sunday for over $6,000 and 120.98 PLB points.

‘Power’ (1,858.34) slips one spot to #7, although he is only roughly 27 PLB points behind Didonato. Meanwhile, Thomas ‘Butters’ Kearney (1,581.21) maintained his #8 ranking while taking a break from the online scene.

Las Vegas’ ‘The_Razor’ (1,515.31) climbs into the top 10, landing at #9, after putting in some solid volume in May. ‘The_Razor’ notched 23 cashes, 10 of which were additions to his PLB score. If he continues to put in the time, he’ll very quickly surpass $100,000 in lifetime earnings, as he only needs $7,000 more to get there.

Wrapping up Nevada’s top 10 is the whimsically named ‘CloverSparklesFartShovels’ (1,440.81), who did not register any results in May.
